Anna Schmitz is a video artist that hails from Florence, Mississippi and currently resides in Cleveland, Mississippi. She graduated from Hinds Community College with an Associate of Arts degree and is finishing her BFA at Delta State University studying Digital Media Art with an emphasis in Video Production.

In the past, she has interned at Godwin Advertising in Jackson, Mississippi, working in video production, filming, and editing material, and web design. She has also freelanced at Broken Arm Studio in Cleveland, being a production assistant, cameraman, and editor. Currently, she works in broadcasting as a radio DJ and production assistant at WDSW 88.1.

Her work has been in group exhibitions such as the Delta State Student Exhibition where she has won numerous awards. Anna’s work has also been featured in The Delta Da Literary Journal, the B52 Film Festival, and in international shows around the world.
