Anna Schmitz is a video artist that hails from Florence, Mississippi and currently resides in Cleveland, Mississippi. They graduated from Hinds Community College with an Associate of Arts degree and is currently pursuing their Bachelor of Fine arts degree, studying Digital Media Art with an emphasis in Video Production.

In the past, they have interned at Godwin Advertising in Jackson, Mississippi, working in video production, filming, and editing material, and web design. They has also freelanced at Broken Arm Studio in Cleveland, being a production assistant, cameraman, and editor. Currently, they work in broadcasting as a radio DJ and production assistant at WDSW 88.1.

Their work has been in group exhibitions such as the Delta State Student Exhibition where she has won numerous awards. Anna’s work has also been featured in Delta State Salon de Refuse, The Delta Da Literary Journal, and the B52 Film Festival.
